Description
Nabakumar starts for “Kalikata” from the rural area of North Bengal. He reaches the red-light area of Calcutta, Sonagachi. He finds shelter under the affection of Shefali-Ma, a yesteryear actress. Honest,truthful soul Nabakmar finds himself incongruous in this mega-city. The filthy lifestyle of Sonagachi moves him to tears and pain.
