Description
Swami Vivekananda should be considered as a revolutionary not because he was the first Indian to declare himself as a Socialist nor for the fact that he declared first that Shudra uprising would take place first in Russia, then in China. For the first time, he projected the extant of exploitation and sinking of the poor in India long before the arrival of Marx’s writing in India. His concept of liberation as a part of both physical and intellectual development was not based on any model.
